‘Do You Like Brahms?’ And ‘Record Of Youth’ Are Youth Dramas That Will Surely Melt Your Heart

“Do You Like Brahms?” or “Record Of Youth”? Which of the two dramas that debuted on the small screen this month are you following? “Record of Youth” has been gaining popularity due to the stellar cast, including Park Bo Gum from “Love in the Moonlight” and Park So Dam of “Parasite Fame” but for those who are still yet to decide whether they will commit in either of the drama, Here’s what you need to know!

Record of Youth follows the tale of a semi-popular model, Sa Hye Joon, played by Park Bo Gum. Park Bo Gum’s character aims to become a famous actor, and he feels small when compared to his best friend, Won Hae Hyo (Byeon Woo Seok), who has a prominent and rich mother to support his career. Sa Hye Joon and his best friend met Ahn Jeong Ha (Park So Dam), an assistant makeup artist who is a longtime fan of Sa Hye Jun.

The ratings of the drama reached 7.2% for its latest episode, and it has entered the top 10 viewership for the dramas in tvN.

Viewers also praised the drama for being entertaining, sharing that the refreshing story gets rid of their Monday blues. The drama series is currently airing every Monday and Tuesday at 9 pm KST, and it is also available on Netflix.

Do You Like Brahms?

In terms of cinematography and directing, “Do You Like Brahms?” is a little bit more dreamy compared to Record of Youth, which feels just a touch more gritty, but it is equally as moving. Do You Like Brahms? Tells the story of a highly successful pianist, Park Joon Young, as played by Kim Min Jae, who keeps crossing paths with Chae Song Ah (Park Eun Bin), a 4th-year music student,

Chae Song Ah’s character is often the target of many because of her quiet personality, and despite that, she keeps her head down. Park Joon Young, on the other hand, slowly helps her by using his authority in the industry.

Chae Song Ah, in return, provides emotional comfort as he untangles the relationships around him. Airing on SBS, the drama has hit ratings of 7.3% for its last episode. The drama plays every Monday and Tuesday at 10 pm KST.

Furthermore, Do You Like Brahms? Continuously receiving praise for Kim Min Jae’s natural skill in portraying heart-fluttering moments with nonchalance, stealing the hearts of many viewers. And also to his real-life skill in playing the piano.
