A new captivating poster of Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah is now released by the tvN’s upcoming drama “Tale of Nine-Tailed!”

The upcoming drama, “Tale of the Nine-Tailed,” is an “urban fantasy drama” featuring the mythical nine-tailed fox, a male gumiho named Yi Yeon (Lee Dong Wook) who has just settled in a city. Together with the fearless and talented producing director (PD) Nam Ji Ah (Jo Bo Ah), whose current features are about urban myths and is determined to hunt the gumiho.

Lee Dong Wook will portray as gumiho Yi Yeon, who now lives in the city that once ruled as a living god of Baekdudaegan Mountain Range. Being a judge who punishes monsters disturbing the living world, he traveled between his world and the underworld. He worked in the immigration office for 600 years.

Meanwhile, Jo Bo Ah plays PD Nam Ji Ah, who runs a program about supernatural beings. She was a competitive person searching for her parents, who went missing 21 years ago after a strange traffic accident.

Yi Yeon and Nam Ji Ah fiercely locking gazes showed in the newly released main poster. The two shine bewitchingly beneath the moonlight as they are leaning each other close under the night with dimly lit buildings behind. They exchange deep gazes, which creates a cold atmosphere.

Nam Ji Ah exudes a volatile aura as she grasps Yi Yeon by his collar. They could not take off their eyes from each other because they were drawing each other closer. They both completed a tense scene with the emotions they portray in the poster.

The poster caption reads, “I waited for you,” which raised curiosity to the viewers. The two actors wholly transformed into their respective roles to create a powerful image as they began filming.

The production team shared that Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah portrayed the tense relationship between their characters full of skills. They also added that their combination goes beyond what we can imagine.

“Tale of the Nine-Tailed” will air on October 7 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
