While South Korea has always had a lot of discrimination concerning homosexuality, several celebrities and musicians have stepped forth to express appreciation for the LGBTQ community. In specific, many people from the LGBTQ community are K-pop lovers, especially abroad, where they continuously voice out their support for their favorite idols.

It's been mentioned that this year's world tour, BLACKPINK, has shown to be extremely polite and kind to BLINKs. (via Koreaboo) But particularly for how freely she expressed her respect for LGBTQ BLINKs, Rosé has managed to stand out.

A fan in Manila tossed a pride flag onto the platform, which Rosé grabbed up on the big screen and started waving it. Also, in America, one BLINK gave Rosé a plush toy, which was meaningful to her. Rosé approached her without skipping a beat who his partner was. When the BLINK pointed her girlfriend out in the crowd of people, Rosé did tell her how nice it was to purchase her a cuddly toy for her date.

Rosé questioned if the BLINK needed the plush toy returned since it was so special to her, but the fan answered she preferred Rosé to get it and keep it with her in South Korea, so Rosé did agree.

Moreover, Rosé was caught giving warm embraces to LGBTQ fans worldwide, revealing how she adores all her fans, despite their orientation or history. Also, Rosé received a proposal from a female BLINK, and she accepted cheerily to marry her, demonstrating how pleasant Rosé is to all her supporters.

While individuals in the LGBTQ community in South Korea still experience prejudice and struggles, it is inspiring to see celebrities and idols speaking out in support and defense. Hopefully, this will continue to improve how LGBTQ people are viewed and accepted worldwide.
