Girls’ Generation members Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun coincidentally gets booked for different upcoming JTBS dramas this 2020!

The three members have been active individually as actresses after being idols for a long period of time.

The details of their upcoming individual JTBC dramas are as follows:

On June 23, Sooyoung received an offer to star in the upcoming drama ‘Run On’ and she is currently looking over the role positively.

‘Run On’ tells the story of a sprinter who was on the national team as he becomes a sports agent. Im Siwan, Kang Tae Oh, and Shin Se Kyung are currently in talks for the drama as well.

Sooyoung previously starred in the drama ‘Tell Me What You Saw’ earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Yoona has already confirmed to star in the upcoming drama ‘Hush’ (working title).

'Hush' is an office drama about newspaper reporters and their everyday struggles, problems, and ethical dilemmas. Yoona will be playing the role of the intern reporter Lee Ji Soo, a bold character who isn’t afraid to say what needs to be said, even during a job interview.

The filming for the drama will begin during the second half of 2020. This will mark Yoona’s return to the small screen in three years since starring in the drama ‘The King Loves’ back in 2017.

Yoona recently starred in the blockbuster movie ‘Exit’ where she won the Best New Actress award at the 20th Women in Film Korea Festival.

As for the youngest member, Seohyun got cast for the upcoming drama ‘Private Life’ earlier this year.

‘Private Life’ is a story about a con artist, that will be played by Seohyun, getting herself unintentionally involved in matters of national privacy and fighting a major firm using every scheme she knows to survive. The drama is set to air on September 1 this year.
