Lovelyz held an online showcase for the release of their seventh mini-album "Unforgettable."

On September 1, the girls made their first comeback since the "Once Upon A Time" last May 2019. When asked what they did during their hiatus, Sujeong replied that they started recording their new album since the beginning of this year. They gained some independence this year, and the members meet occasionally, and although it was not revealed yet, Jin recorded her first OST.

Kei added that she wanted to do an excellent job in singing, so while she is in the backstage, the hard-working idol took vocal lessons, and she also worked out. Meanwhile, Yein talked about her experience in SBS's "Law Of The Jungle," and Jiae talked about her radio show.

"Obliviate" is the title track of Lovelyz's new album, produced by Razer's new production team Stardust. Razer worked with Lovelyz before. The song was written by the singer-songwriter Sujeong, who released her solo album earlier this year.

Moreover, Yein revealed that the group worked with Stardust, and it feels like a sexy concept, but they tried to express "sentimental" rather than the sexy one. At the same time, Kei commented that their style changed a lot and that since Lovelyz is known for its synchronizing moves, they feel like they are now living in the practice room.

Member Sujeong shares that it is her hobby to research and write new material, and she thought of writing a song based on a spell. As she does her research, she looked up different strong spells, but "Obliviate" from the 'Harry Potter' is a spell that means to erase a bad memory, where she found out that it has a good meaning. The producer and members liked it, and she started writing the lyrics.

The song "Obliviate" talks about erasing bad memories of this year. Many things may have happened this year, and the group hopes that people will forget about this nightmare and make fresh new memories this coming 2021. (Via Soompi)
