Lee Hi recently appeared in an interview and photoshoot of the fashion magazine Marie Claire.

The singer shared in the post-interview with the mag how she spends her busy days happy. She also shared that she liked having so much work to do and doing it at once, including working for her next album. Lee Hi revealed that she was quite nervous hearing the news spreading about her signing with AOMG even before making it official. But then, she was glad that people were having an interest in her career.

Furthermore, Lee Hi talked a little about Code Kunst in the interview, whom she worked with before joining AOMG. She shared how they communicate well because of their interest in the same music, and even their music tastes are similarly unusual. The singer continued that Code Kunst already understands what she means even when only telling him, 'Let's try this".

Lee Hi thought that she could make music that will show more of her when working with Code Kunst and she revealed that Code Kunst works fast, like when she sends her demo even it is late in the evening, he will finish it the next day.

The singer also shared that she enjoyed making songs. She expressed that she is a singer, not a songwriter, nor a producer. She thought that interpreting and singing songs her way is more significant, and with that, she tried to put relatable lyrics into her album because she wanted to share her stories with the world. "As long as it is a song that shows who I am, and it is a piece of excellent music to listen to, it does not matter to me who wrote it."

Lee Hi has also participated more in the general album process. For "HOLO," she attended all the album cover meetings, the mixing and mastering, foreign promotions, the music show broadcasts, and the moving teaser. In the past, Lee would only get a good song, sing it well, and put on an excellent performance to it, but now, she can already contact artists she wanted to work with and enjoy the natural process. So, it ended up her being busy and having fun during the comeback.

Moreover, the singer revealed that she still made herself alive in the house like cleaning, doing the laundry, eating some good food, and even spending alone time during her days off and after her busy days.

Lee Hi also shared about her experience on the show "Begin Again." She explained that she was not signed with an agency when the casting offer came in. The production staff contacted her through Lee Soo Hyun of AKMU, who was part of the show. They prepared more than what the TV showed and even practiced eight hours straight to have a good result. They felt the responsibility for cheering up the public despite the COVID-19 pandemic. "It was a challenging yet fulfilling shoot and would love to do it again."
