The phenomenal Korean boy group, BTS, wins all four nominations at the 2020 MTV VMAs on August 30 (Local Time). The boyband also bagged the Hottest Summer Superstar at the MTV UK.

BTS swept all four awards at the MTV VMAs as they were nominated for, which were Best Group, Best K-pop Group, Best Pop, and Best Choreography for their single "ON." Also, BTS is the first Asian artist to win the Best Pop Award category.

The group created a video, thanking the ARMY (the official name of BTS's fans) for their support as they win the Best Pop Award On the MTV VMAs.

In the MTV VMA's, BTS performed their latest single "Dynamite," making it their first live performance. However, this year's award ceremony featured performances are from different remote locations due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which the boy band's stage filmed in South Korea.

Meanwhile, BTS' latest single "Dynamite" surpassed 250 million views on Youtube on August 30 at precisely 4:15 KST, only taking it nine days, three hours, and 15 minutes after it was officially released last August 21 at 1 PM, KST.

The milestone makes "Dynamite" the fastest Korean group music video to hit 250 million views on Youtube after BLACKPINK's single "How You Like That" at just 12 days and 10 hours.

In other news, BTS was chosen to be the winner of MTV UK's Hottest Summer Superstar for the second year in a row. MTV UK announced on August 29 local time on their official website that the Korean boy band won the Hottest Summer Superstar 2020.

BTS won first place on the MTV UK's Hottest Summer Superstar with an impressive 33,203,280 votes, while BLACKPINK ranks second with 3,248,886 votes.

This year marks the eight-year MTV UK held the Hottest Summer Superstar Award poll with previous winners One Direction from 2013-2015, Fifth Harmony in 2016, Lady Gaga in 2017, Selena Gomez in 2018, and BTS on 2019 and 2020. This also marks that BTS is the second artist to win the second time in a row.
