"Kim Ji Young: Born 1982," "Maggie," "Another Child," "House of Hummingbird," "Our Body," together with the other four remaining films will all be presented in the said event. Furthermore, DGK has chosen outstanding personalities who have made a significant contribution to gender equality that involves actress Kim Hee-ae for her role in the movie "Moonlit Winter" and will also highlight her award for "The World of the Married."

The film "Moonlit Winter" is a movie that tells Yoon-hee's tale (performed by Kim Hee Ae), a divorced mother with one daughter at her side. Yoon-hee did grow up lying about her gender identity biases for years before she married and had a kid. She was dissatisfied with most of her marital relationships, which prompted her to leave and end it. She resides with her only child, who learned of her sexual orientation later on.

Sae-Bom (portrayed by Kim So Hye) acknowledged her mother's choice over life and managed to help her pursue the person she had truly loved during her high school years. "Moonlit Winter" has been one of Korea's first big-release film that portrays the LGBTQ community's real-life challenges. It narrates the reality and hardships faced by many men or women when living within societal expectations.

The role of Kim Hee Ae in "The World of the Married" often portrays the obstacles that women face when striving for equality and recognition as a divorced woman in society. The actress also expressed that one of the beach sequences had her think about whether the drama was an accurate case.

Meanwhile, Bechel Day 2020 will begin from September 1 to 7, starting a week of gender equality and encouraging more Korean writers and directors to create content that supports the objective.
