Lee Sun Gyun and Choi Woo Shik, actors of "Parasite," talk about being cast of the film and shared stories from their Oscars' experience.

On the tvN's "Summer Vacation" broadcast on August 21, Lee Sun Gyun and Park Hee Soon joined the "home vacation" show of Choi Woo Shik and Jung Yu Mi.

While making rice wine, the three men started talking about the Oscars, where "Parasite" bagged four awards. Lee Sun Gyun shared that since the awarding was done live, there were some commercials between where guests can go out for a while, but when they fail to return within the given time, the doors automatically close. Choi Woo Shik, who went to the bathroom, revealed that he missed their first award as he was locked out.

He added that he was like a "Parasite" at the entrance. "It's me! Parasite! Kiwoo!" he jokingly shared. He said that standing beside him was the French actress Lea Seydoux, so he even acted harder at being upset.

Later at night in "Summer Vacation," the group was sharing midnight snacks while talking when Lee Sun Gyun revealed how he landed as cast for "Parasite" and surprised Jung Yu Mi after pointing out that he didn't have any scenes with Choi Woo Shik.

Lee Sun Gyun shared that when he was working on "Bad Police," the costume team leader repeatedly had worked with director Bong Joon Ho. They told him that Director Bong would contact him, and with the news, he did not immediately inform his agency, even his wife, Hye Jin. "I didn't have expectations, since I'm such a fan of director Bong Joon Ho. I keep on thinking, "What if?" and finally I got the call after two months later."

He added that he was so nervous, considering himself being a rookie. The director told him that he wants to work with him, but he has one concern: he looks so young for a role with a daughter.

The cast burst in laughter after he shared telling the director that his white hairs are insane, and it was just dyed. "I am more capable!" he exclaimed.
