One of the beloved actors in the industry, Heo Dong-Won, who starred in The King: The Eternal Monarch, and When The Camellia Blooms, has been reported to have tested positive for COVID-19.

Heo Dong-Won has had a positive diagnostic test for Coronavirus, as he is in contact with Seo Sung Jong, according to an exclusive SPOTV press release. The two are set to star together on the Jjambbong act.

Meanwhile, Heo Dong-Won was automatically transferred to a remote facility for self-isolation upon getting the positive test result. Since the actor appears to be part of the production team of the forthcoming KBS drama Do Do Sol La La Sol, the staff has decided to temporarily halt the filming.

In addition, the producers of the show 'To All The Guys Who Loved Me' also stopped shooting because one of the cast, Seo Sung Jong, also tested positive for Coronavirus. Apparently, some of the production crew from the said drama are also part of the production of Do Do Sol La La Sol. A representative from Heo Dong Won's label has acknowledged the news with their public statement.

"Hi, this is Ace Plant. Actor Heo Dong Won's Coronavirus test has given him a positive result. A participant of the Jjambbong act was reported to have contracted the Coronavirus, and the KCDC advised Heo Dong-Won that he's the participant's direct contact. He was self-isolated after the Coronavirus test. His test was verified as positive, and now he's being transported for reassessment to the KCDC. Heo Dong-Won was one of Do Sol Sol La La Sol's crew and promptly told the production about his assessment so that they could check up to share his positive result with them." (via Koreaboo)

The agency also informed the public that his manager also underwent the COVID-19 screening and tested negative as he continues to follow the advice of the KCDC.
