Super Junior's Eunhyuk and Minhyuk of MONSTA X will collaborate as moderators of a brand-new entertainment show featuring idols. MBC's streaming studio Mdromeda and KT Seezn revealed on August 20 that they would introduce a new dancing entertainment show next week.

The upcoming show, called "Back to the Idol," will showcase famous idols of the modern-day looking back on and presenting iconic dance performances by second-generation artists of the 2000s. Eunhyuk and Minhyuk, both of whom have demonstrated their hosting expertise and excellence on numerous shows, including "Weekly Idol" and "Inkigayo," will join forces as MCs for the upcoming show. Boy group ONF will be featured as guests in the first episode of "Back to the Idol," who will throw on an excellent performance as they start taking on legendary dance moves from the 2000s. The program will also allow viewers to interact with the stars in real-time, leaving feedback during their weekly live telecast.

"Back to the Idol" will start broadcasting at 9 PM, KST, each Wednesday. The show will be launched via the KT Seezn app on August 26.

ABOUT EUNHYUK

Eunhyuk made his debut on November 6, 2005, as part of the 12-member group, Super Junior 05, with their first song, "Twins (Knock Out)." Their album SuperJunior05 (Twins) was launched on December 5, 2005.

SM Entertainment started recruiting new representatives for the next wave of Super Junior in March 2006. But circumstances changed, and the firm issued a halt in establishing subsequent generations of Super Junior.

ABOUT MINHYUK

Minhyuk is a member of the South Korean boy band, MONSTA X, along with other members, namely Shownu, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and IM. The group made its debut with their very first EP, Trespass, on May 14, 2015.

MONSTA X introduced their first studio album in March 2017, and the final version of The Clan lineup, The Clan Pt. 2.5: Final Chapter. MONSTA X's Japanese track "Spotlight" won internationally recognized gold certification from Japan's Recording Industry Association in April 2018.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X's first English release, All About Luv, ranked number 5 spot on the US Billboard 200 in February 2020.
