Rising boy group ATBO is set to make a striking 'reversal comeback' with their new song "Next to Me."

On the 9th, ATBO's agency IST Entertainment drew global K-pop fans' attention by releasing a highlight medley video of their third mini-album "The Beginning: 飛上 (The Beginning: Ascension)" through their official SNS and YouTube channels.

The unveiled video featured a fresh approach to the medley, previewing snippets of new songs with an airplane in-flight motif set against a clear sky. ATBO then introduced six tracks from the mini-album, including the title track "Next to Me," alongside behind-the-scenes footage from the album concept photo shoot, satisfying viewers' eyes and ears.

The first unveiled track, "Next to Me," captivated listeners with its bright and upbeat sound, contrasting the group's previously intense music style. The funky guitar riffs and brass sounds in the song evoke a bright and refreshing early summer vibe, with lyrics like "Wake up thrillingly higher than the clouds" and "Now hold my hand, fly to the next new place," amplifying curiosity about ATBO's new transformation and their upcoming comeback.

The mini-album features tracks that showcase ATBO's wide musical spectrum, including the powerful beat and confident vibe of "BOUNCE," and the positive energy of "Just Dance." Additionally, the album includes the rhythmic rap part of "Please Love Me," the determined track "Good Thing" pledging to keep their own tempo, and the fan song "Just for Us," with all members participating in writing the lyrics, completing a solid album lineup.

ATBO's third mini-album "The Beginning: Ascension," set for release on the 18th, tells the story of seven boys who are ready to soar higher and further. The album features global producers like Kyler Niko, as well as renowned hitmakers like lyricist Cho Yoon-kyung and popular producer Kim Seung-soo. Members Oh Joon-seok and Bae Hyun-joon also participated in rap making for all tracks, contributing to the album's overall strength.

Meanwhile, ATBO's third mini-album "The Beginning: Ascension," including the new song "Next to Me," will be available on major music sites, including Melon, at 6 PM on the 18th.
