No Reply Breaks 5-Year Hiatus with New Song
'Sentimental duo' No Reply (Kwon Soon-kwan, Jeong Wook-jae) is making a comeback with "Rendezvous."
No Reply will release their new song "Rendezvous" on various music platforms at 12 PM on April 21 (KST). This is their first new song in about five years.
Kwon Soon-kwan, who is in charge of vocals and keyboard, wrote and composed the song himself. Kwon Soon-kwan said, "I once had a dream where a person I met in a dark and hazy background hugged me without saying anything. I couldn't remember their face exactly, but I was sure it was love at first sight," adding, "I captured the scene of love in the distant memory of a dream in the song."
Guitarist Jeong Wook-jae said, "We tried to express a fascinating sound through delicate instrument play," and added, "I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has been concerned with us for this new song, and to all the fans who have been waiting for our music."
"Rendezvous" is also a pre-release song for No Reply's upcoming new album. No Reply is scheduled to perform a live stage of the new song at the music festival "Beautiful Mint Life 2023," which will be held at Olympic Park on May 13.
