BTS' Suga Expresses 'Disappointment': 'Thought IU Would Invite Me as a Concert Guest'
BTS member Suga revealed his disappointment at not being invited to IU's concert.
On April 10, Suga appeared as a guest on the YouTube show "IU's Palette."
During the show, Suga expressed his disappointment to IU, saying, "I thought you would at least invite me as a concert guest."
IU responded, "When (Suga) asked, 'Why didn't you invite me?' I said it was because 'Eight' is the opening song. I thanked him for being considerate." However, Suga still felt wronged, saying, "Then at least invite me (to the concert). I didn't even get an invitation."
IU quickly explained, "No, I think inviting people might put pressure on them." She went on to say that she doesn't usually invite people to her concerts unless they specifically ask her to let them know about upcoming shows.
Suga brought laughter by sharing, "I didn't have anything else going on when you had your concert, so I went to a friend's wedding instead."
IU further explained, "We really wanted to have you there, but we couldn't invite you starting from the opening song. Your part in 'Eight' is not short. It was awkward to ask you to do just that."
Upon hearing this, Suga playfully countered, "Then come to our concert and do a featuring." This caught IU off guard, leaving her flustered.
