TWICE's Jungyeon Won't Be Participating In Group's First Live World Tour 'III' Concerts After Pandemic
Jungyeon, band member of K-pop group TWICE, will reportedly not attend the group's first live, offline concerts in Seoul since the Covid-19 pandemic started.
The girl group's management agency JYP Entertainment released an official statement addressing the singer's health concerns. The 4th World Tour called "III" is geared to kick off in Seoul starting December 25 and 26.
Jungyeon won't be bee attending the concerts after introspection and discussing the matter with fellow band members.
In their statement, after greeting everyone with a "hello", JYPE said that they would like to notify everyone that TWICE member Jungyeon won't be able to attend the Seoul performance of TWICE's 4TH World Tour 'III'. It will be held for two days on December 25 and December 26 because of health reasons after consulting Jungyeon and the band members.
The agency also said they were sorry to inform the fans as they have been waiting for the performance for a long time. JYPE also added that they will do their best as a management company so that their artists can promote in a healthy manner.
The entertainment also stated that if fans wish to cancel the already bought ticket according to the guide, then they can get in touch with the Yes24 Performance Customer Center [1544-6399], and JYPE will inform the individual that a 100% refund is possible without a cancellation fee. The company mentioned that the details related to the refunds can also be found on the website.
In the statement, JYPE also thanked fans for their anticipation and support for the K-pop girls' group's 4th World Tour "III", and apologized once again for bringing this news.
Incidentally, Jeongyeon has already taken a break twice and gone on a hiatus due to panic and psychological anxiety symptoms. The first break was in October last year when she was not present for the group's "Eyes Wide Open" promotions.
The singer's hiatus lasted three months, after which she rejoined the other TWICE members at the 30th Seoul Music Awards in January 2021. The second hiatus was in August this year.
Furthermore, in 2020 the singer had also revealed that she was suffering from a neck injury, a herniated disc, which was caused by the rehearsals for TWICE's "MORE & MORE" promotions.
Meanwhile, TWICE's 4TH World Tour 'III' will take the band all over the world, from Australia to the USA.
