BTS's Jungkook's '3D' Hits #1 Across Major iTunes Markets: A Perfect All-Kill
BTS's Jungkook has achieved a historic record on iTunes with his solo single '3D'.
World Music Awards (WMA) announced that Jungkook's second solo single '3D', released on September 29 at 1 PM, has set a record by reaching #1 in the shortest time across all eight of the world's largest music markets on iTunes.
'3D' showcased its immense music power by achieving a 'perfect all-kill' in the shortest time ever on the iTunes Top Songs charts in the major music markets, namely the USA, UK, Japan, France, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, and Germany. This surpasses the record set by Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven', released on July 14.
In addition, '3D' has proven its strong global music popularity by breaking the record for #1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in a total of 108 countries/regions.

Released on iTunes, '3D' achieved #1 on the iTunes Top Songs charts in 100 countries/regions in just about 16 hours. By around 10 AM (Korean time) on the 5th, it added #1 in the Micronesia chart, showcasing its powerful music influence by breaking the record for #1 in 108 countries/regions in less than a week.
Furthermore, '3D' maintained its #1 position on the iTunes Worldwide and European iTunes Song charts for seven consecutive days. As of the 6th (Korean time), it dominated positions #1 to #7 on the US iTunes Top Songs chart.
Previously, '3D' also topped the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, on October 2nd, continuing its unstoppable popularity run on major global charts.
Meanwhile, Jungkook has been nominated for the 'Best Song' category with his first solo single 'Seven' at the 'MTV EMA 2023', Europe's largest music awards ceremony, to be held in Paris, France, in November. Jungkook has been nominated in a total of three categories, including 'Best Kpop' and 'Biggest Fans', marking the most nominations for a K-pop solo artist.
