Lee Hyo-ri Donates $100,000 to Flood Relief, Wishes for Quick Restoration of Precious Everyday Life
Singer Lee Hyo-ri has participated in a charitable act to assist flood victims.
According to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) on the 18th, Lee Hyo-ri donated 100 million KRW (approximately $100,000) to aid neighbors affected by the record rainfall.
Lee Hyo-ri stated, "My heart ached seeing the people affected by the consecutive heavy rains. I made this donation with the hope to convey that we're in this together. We all hope that this situation will pass quickly. I wish everyone can return to their precious daily lives as soon as possible."
Lee Hyo-ri has been continuously leading good deeds, including protecting abandoned dogs, sharing for the vulnerable, and protecting the environment.
The Hope Bridge's Secretary-General Kim Jeong-hee said, "We thank Lee Hyo-ri for showing a warm heart for disaster victims," and added, "Hope Bridge has been operating a disaster safety situation room since the 13th and carrying out emergency relief activities. We will do our best to help the victims return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
