Teen Top Unveils Tracklist for New Album '4SHO' Featuring Title Track 'HWEEK'
The group Teen Top (Chunji, Niel, Ricky, Changjo) is returning with their new song 'HWEEK.'
At midnight on the 27th, Teen Top released the tracklist for their album 'TEEN TOP [4SHO]' through their official SNS channel.
According to the tracklist, the new album includes five songs in total: the title track 'HWEEK,' 'NEXT YOU,' 'Missing You 2023,' a sped-up version of 'HWEEK,' and an instrumental track.
The new album boasts an impressive roster of local and international creators. The lyrics for the title song 'HWEEK' are written by Seo Ji-eum, who has worked on hit songs for famous stars like EXO, Monsta X, IVE, Red Velvet. The composition and arrangement are done by Josef Melin, who has worked with SHINee and Super Junior.
On another track 'NEXT YOU,' Kang Eun-jung, who has participated in songs by Taeyeon, Onew, and NCT 127, collaborated with Chris Wahle, who has worked with Apink and The Boyz, and Ryan Lawrie, who has collaborated with BTS, Tomorrow X Together, and ENHYPEN.
The Avengers-like line-up of creators leading K-pop and Teen Top, who are a pillar in the Korean music industry, have stirred high expectations for the explosive synergy they will produce.
The sped-up version, which is currently gaining popularity on social media, is also included as an official track. Teen Top plans to catch two rabbits - trend and fun - with this new song.
'TEEN TOP [4SHO]' is a phrase that expresses certainty and the obviousness of 'For Sure.' It encapsulates the 'certain and obvious promise' that Teen Top conveys to their fans.
Meanwhile, Teen Top's 'HWEEK' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM on July 4th.
