BTS's Jungkook Becomes First and Only Solo Artist to Surpass 190 Billion Views on TikTok with '#jungkook' Hashtag
BTS's Jungkook has once again proved his immense global popularity on the social media platform TikTok.
As of May 30 (KST), the personalized hashtag '#jungkook' for Jungkook has surpassed an impressive 190 billion views on TikTok.
The '#jungkook' hashtag, after hitting 180 billion views, demonstrated its powerful popularity and influence by increasing an astonishing 10 billion views in just about one and a half months.
Despite being in a period without official activities, Jungkook has recorded 190 billion views, being the first and only among solo artists worldwide to achieve this milestone, hence showing his extraordinary presence.
Jungkook has previously held the title of the most viewed solo artist worldwide on TikTok for five consecutive months, from December of last year.
Other hashtags related to Jungkook, such as '#JK' and '#jeonjungkook', have also recorded substantial views, with 63.4 billion and 25 billion views, respectively.
In addition to TikTok, Jungkook has been the most searched K-pop idol on Google for five consecutive years, the most searched K-pop idol on YouTube worldwide for five consecutive years, the top K-pop star on Tumblr for five consecutive years, and the most searched K-pop idol on Pinterest in the US, UK, and Canada.
On YouTube, the hashtag '#JUNGKOOK' has become the most used individual hashtag ever, demonstrating Jungkook's sweeping dominance across major global social media platforms.
