BTS member Jungkook shined with his global music power by setting a record as the fastest K-pop solo artist to reach 600 million streams on Spotify.

Recently, Jungkook surpassed 600 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, with his collaboration track 'Left and Right' with American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth.

'Left and Right,' released on June 24 last year, broke the 600 million streaming mark in just 323 days, proving the consistent interest and hot love of global music fans.

World Music Awards (WMA), often referred to as the European Billboard, and Chart Data, a Twitter account that provides real-time updates on global music charts, also highlighted Jungkook's new K-pop record through their official accounts. They reported, "Jungkook achieved 600 million streams on Spotify in the 'shortest' period for a K-pop solo artist with 'Left and Right.'"

Moreover, as of May 15 (Korean time), 'Left and Right' reentered Spotify's 'Global Daily Top Songs' chart at 178th place, demonstrating its powerful music presence and popularity by charting for 282 days.

In addition, 'Left and Right' was honored at the '2023 BMI Pop Awards,' hosted by the U.S. copyright organization BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.), winning the 'Most-Performed Songs of the Year.'

Previously, 'Left and Right' achieved remarkable success after its release, debuting at 3rd place on Spotify's 'Global Daily Top Songs' chart and 8th on the 'U.S. Daily Top Songs' chart. It also continued the record relay by entering the 'Hot 100' main singles chart of the prominent U.S. music media 'Billboard' for '17 consecutive weeks.' This accomplishment earned him an official entry into the 'Guinness World Records.'

Recently, he broke another record as the fastest K-pop solo artist to reach 1.1 billion streams in just 453 days.
