A female singer in her 30s who was receiving a lot of attention has passed away.

According to police and music industry sources on the 12th, Singer A (30) was found dead at her residence.

Singer A, who had been active in the trot genre, was recognized for her vocal abilities rooted in Pansori, a form of traditional Korean music which she majored in at university.

Earlier this year, Singer A had showcased her solid singing skills on a terrestrial music competition program.

In addition to music broadcasts, the late singer had also received attention for her appearances on variety shows.
