BTS member V has surpassed 13 million followers on the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, showcasing his global popularity. V crossed the 13 million follower milestone on May 10th.

This remarkable achievement was gained without any solo albums, mixtapes, or collaborations with famous international pop stars. Instead, it was based on just three original soundtrack (OST) tracks, highlighting the loyalty and love of fans for V's musical world.

ChartMasters, a website that provides information related to music charts, automatically searches for information on 2,000 major artists in the global music market and updates the list of the 'Top 200 Artists with the Most Followers' daily.

Since Spotify began its service in 2006, countless music fans worldwide have followed the pages of popular music artists. According to ChartMasters, only 182 global artists have recorded more than 10 million followers on Spotify.

As of May 12th, V's Spotify followers reached 13.02 million, ranking 122nd in the world and proving his strong presence and influence in the global music market. In South Korea's Spotify, V ranks third as a soloist, after J-Hope and RM, and sixth when including both groups and solo artists.

The songs registered on V's Spotify account are drama OSTs: "Christmas Tree," "Sweet Night," and "죽어도 너야" (Even If I Die, It's You). V holds the top two spots for the most-streamed K-OSTs, and his emotive vocals have been praised for enhancing the immersion of the dramas.

"Christmas Tree" notably charted on Billboard's main chart, the Hot 100, despite being released during the competitive Christmas season. "Sweet Night" is V's self-composed track, which earned him recognition not only as a vocalist but also as a singer-songwriter. Major publications like TIME magazine have praised the song.

With only three tracks captivating countless listeners, anticipation is high for V's upcoming solo album and future musical endeavors.
