Girl group LE SSERAFIM has shown more than double growth compared to their previous work on Japan's Oricon Chart.

According to the latest chart announced by Oricon on May 9 (dated May 15), LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae)'s 1st full-length album 'UNFORGIVEN' topped the weekly album ranking with about 89,000 sales. They are the first international female artists to reach number one on the chart this year.

With this, LE SSERAFIM has ranked number one on the Oricon weekly album chart for two consecutive albums, following their 2nd mini-album 'ANTIFRAGILE'. 'ANTIFRAGILE' recorded the first place with about 44,000 sales on the chart dated October 31st last year. 'UNFORGIVEN' has sold more than double the previous work, setting a new personal record.

Based on the Hanteo Chart, the album's first-week sales (sales within a week from the release date) in Korea exceeded 1.25 million, achieving the fastest million-seller among K-pop girl groups since their debut. LE SSERAFIM has been enjoying explosive momentum in both Korea and Japan, hitting a 'career high.'

Additionally, LE SSERAFIM's new song 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' music video surpassed 50 million views on YouTube around 6 pm on the 8th. The video entered the top of the popular music video and hot issue charts on Korea's YouTube Music, showcasing its extraordinary presence.

The success of 'UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)' was predicted early on. The music video received heated responses by surpassing 1 million views on YouTube within just 40 minutes of its release, and as of 8 am on the release day, it entered the trending music categories in 60 countries/regions worldwide, including the United States, Japan, Canada, the United Kingdom, and France, demonstrating global popularity.

In addition, the performance music video released on May 8 surpassed 1 million views within 8 hours of its release and has recorded 3.22 million views as of noon today (9th), receiving attention from fans worldwide.
