B.I's 'BTBT' Surpasses 100 Million Streams on Spotify Ahead of Comeback
Artist B.I has once again proven his global power with 'BTBT' as he prepares for his regular comeback.
B.I's global EP pre-release single 'BTBT,' released in May last year, has achieved 100 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform, as of May 8th (Korean time).
In February of this year, the global EP 'Love or Loved Part.1,' which includes 'BTBT,' celebrated the milestone of surpassing 100 million streams in total. Now, the single 'BTBT' itself has also reached the 100 million mark.
'BTBT' is an R&B track that marks the beginning of B.I's global album project. The song expresses the provocative emotions felt for each other at first sight with the adverb 'bewilderingly.' B.I unveiled his musical ambitions for a global audience with the collaboration of Soulja Boy and Devita, as well as a harmonious blend of Korean and English lyrics.
With its addictive hook and groovy performance, 'BTBT' garnered a lot of attention and love on global music charts. The song entered 51 regional charts on Spotify's 'Viral 50,' one of the two major charts and a representative social indicator, as well as topping iTunes charts in 49 regions and Apple Music's K-POP charts in 46 regions. It continues to gain popularity on platforms like TikTok.
B.I is gearing up for his June 1st comeback with his second full-length album 'TO DIE FOR.' The album, which includes 15 high-quality tracks such as the double title tracks 'Fearlessly (Dare to Love) (feat. BIG Naughty)' and 'Die for Love (feat. Jessi),' hints at a message for youth and is already raising expectations among music fans.
