Cha Eun-woo's Emotional Moment on Stage Sparks Concern Among Fans: Debating the Impact
Astro's Cha Eun-woo has been caught tearing up while performing on stage, stirring concern among fans.
Recently, a video of Cha Eun-woo singing at a KonnecThai event in Thailand was posted on various social media platforms. In the video, he is seen choking back tears while singing "Focus On Me," his solo song from the tvN drama "Racket Boys" OST.
Netizens speculate that he might have been thinking about Astro's late Moonbin, causing fans to worry. Cha Eun-woo had to say goodbye to Moonbin, and fans believe he might have shed tears while remembering him.
There are concerns about Cha Eun-woo continuing his schedule, given the recent loss of Moonbin. Some worry that it may take a mental toll on him. On the other hand, there are opinions that continuing his schedule and commemorating the deceased might be more necessary for Cha Eun-woo himself.
Moonbin, a fellow Astro member, passed away on the 19th of last month. He and Cha Eun-woo were not only group members but also close friends of the same age, sharing a deep friendship.
After hearing the news of Moonbin's passing, Cha Eun-woo returned home from his overseas schedule and paid his respects at the funeral. Later, he visited Moonbin's memorial space and wrote, "Bin, I miss you on this night. You bad guy. Be hundreds of times happier on the moon. I'll take responsibility and look after what you left behind, so don't worry too much. You did well. I love you and I'm sorry, my friend."
Cha Eun-woo is currently fulfilling his scheduled overseas activities. Prestige Entertainment said about Cha Eun-woo's Thailand schedule, "Cha Eun-woo is planning to participate in the event as scheduled," adding that "this decision was made after in-depth discussions between Fantagio, Cha Eun-woo, and the organizers. We will make efforts to make KonnecThai a more meaningful event."
