IU Shares Heartwarming Behind-the-Scenes Stories from 'Dream' Filming
Singer and actress IU shared behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of the movie "Dream."
On April 30, a video titled "So-Min PD's 'Dream' 3-year Journey for the Goal of Release" was uploaded to IU's channel.
During the filming of "Dream" in Hungary, IU received mostly OK signs without any bloopers. When the staff mentioned this, IU joked, "It's an OK as soon as I open my mouth. Hungary's OK catcher!" eliciting laughter.
However, she soon expressed concern about the intense UV rays in Hungary, which caused her eye pain. "My condition right now is mixed. Mentally, I feel good, but my eyes hurt, my head is clear, but my legs hurt. My face is a bit dry, but my expression is bright," she said, adding, "It's much better than I worried." IU went on to share her difficulties, saying, "The sunlight is so strong, my eyes really hurt. I think I damaged my cornea. I understand now why people wear sunglasses when they go abroad."
As the last day of filming approached, IU shared her thoughts, "This movie contains my 28th, 29th, and 30th years of life. I'm worried that the scenes from when I was 28 and 30 years old might stand out as my cheeks have slimmed down in real-time. It's been great filming for such a long time. I feel like I've become close and developed a strong bond with everyone."
Meanwhile, IU is meeting the audience through "Dream." The film tells the story of a former soccer player, Yoon Hong Dae (played by Park Seo Joon), and a passionless PD, Lee So Min (played by IU), as they team up with a group of homeless national team players to compete in the "Homeless World Cup."
