Boys Planet's New Group ZB1 Plans Reality Show
The boy group ZeroBaseOne (ZB1), born from the "Boys Planet," will greet fans through a reality show. On April 2h, an Mnet official told Star News, "A reality program featuring Mnet's 'Boys Planet' debut group 'ZB1' is in the planning stages."
"Boys Planet" is a boy group debut project audition program that aired for two months from February to April 20. From this show, the 9-member project group ZB1 was formed. The group is considered a frontrunner of the '5th generation K-pop idols' and plans to debut in the first half of this year, with activities lasting for two years and six months.
The members of ZB1 include Zhang Hao, who ranked 1st in the final viewer's vote on the last broadcast of "Boys Planet," followed by Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gun-wook, Kim Tae-rae, Kim Gyu-bin, Kim Ji-woong, and Han Yu-jin.
Composed of "global members" including mostly Korean members, Chinese member Zhang Hao, and Canadian member Seok Matthew, ZB1 is expected to showcase the chemistry between members and their individual charms through the reality show.
ZB1 will have their first official stage at "KCON JAPAN 2023" on May 13 and 14.
