BTS's Suga has released the music video for his follow-up track "AMYGDALA" from his solo album.

On April 25 (KST), Suga uploaded the music video for 'AMYGDALA,' a song from his solo album 'D-DAY,' released under the stage name Agust D, on the HYBE Labels official YouTube channel. 'AMYGDALA' is a word referring to the almond-shaped part of the brain structure, the amygdala, which plays a crucial role in motivation, emotion, learning, and memory related to fear and anxiety. The song delves into trauma and memories one would rather not confront.

The music video begins with Suga's story. Alone in a dark space, he falls asleep and recalls a memory of riding a motorcycle, only to wake up to a sudden traffic accident. As Suga tries to exit the room, he encounters another version of himself lying on the sofa, and yet another self seems to be watching the entire situation.

As memories of the accident overlap, a now-awake Suga inflicts self-harm on his face and attempts to step towards the open door, but the door locks, and his past memories replay. The video concludes with another Suga from his memories trying to rescue him from the trauma-filled space, but the unyielding door stands between them, causing anguish.

Notably, the music video features scenes where Suga swallows an almond resembling the 'AMYGDALA' as if attempting not to be consumed by his memories and trauma. In this way, the 'AMYGDALA' music video depicts Suga confronting his trauma and striving for self-salvation.

Meanwhile, Suga will kick off his world tour "SUGA | Agust D-DAY TOUR" on the 26th and 27th, starting in Belmont Park and continuing to Newark, Rosemont, Los Angeles, Oakland, and other cities in the United States, as well as Indonesia, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Seoul.
