Jang Won-Young has cleared up misunderstandings surrounding a viral moment involving her and a bodyguard.

On the April 15th broadcast of JTBC's variety show "Knowing Bros," members of the group IVE, including Ahn Yu-Jin, Gaeul, Ray, Jang Won-Young, Riz, and Lee Seo, made an appearance.

During the show, Kang Ho-Dong asked Won-Young about a popular moment where it appeared she had noticed the bodyguard's presence. Won-Young explained, "I was just greeting people and wanted to lower my hand." She added, "I was posing and lowering my hand at the airport, where there were fans and reporters, and the bodyguard happened to be looking at me at that moment."

She continued, "Fans called it the 'daughter getting caught by dad filming a TikTok' moment. I actually wanted to lower my hand, but it looked like I was embarrassed and lowered it (because of the bodyguard)." Won-Young clarified, "It was just a coincidence that the timing matched. Next time, I want to tell him, 'The misunderstanding was so funny.'"
