BTS member J-Hope shared his thoughts and feelings about his upcoming military enlistment during a live broadcast on the fan communication platform, Weverse. In a session titled "Everyone!", J-Hope reassured fans that he would return safely and seemed relatively calm despite his enlistment approaching.

J-Hope candidly discussed his changing emotions about enlisting, saying that just a week ago he was very anxious, but now he feels more at ease. He added that time has passed quickly, and he never thought this day would come for him.

The BTS member shared his recent activities, revealing that he had taken a little over two weeks off, during which he mostly rested and ate well, gaining about 2kg. He also mentioned that he had cut his hair short in preparation for his enlistment.

J-Hope expressed his excitement about experiencing new things and learning in a new environment, seeing his military service as an opportunity for growth. He urged fans not to worry, promising to return as a healthy young man fulfilling his military duty in South Korea.

During the broadcast, J-Hope also recounted a recent interaction with singer Becky G, with whom he collaborated on his 2019 solo track "Chicken Noodle Soup." He amusingly shared a miscommunication when he incorrectly used the word "army" instead of "military service" in their conversation.

J-Hope mentioned that he has been receiving advice on military life from fellow BTS member Jin, who had already enlisted. Jin shared helpful tips and told J-Hope to bring a book to pass the time, as there would be moments of leisure during his service. J-Hope also said he plans to bring an English vocabulary book.

As for his fellow BTS members, J-Hope expressed his deep affection for them, particularly V and Jungkook. He shared that Jungkook had adjusted his schedule to match J-Hope's enlistment, a gesture that touched him. J-Hope assured fans that he cherishes the members just as much as they do.

In response to a fan's question about this being his last Weverse live broadcast, J-Hope said it might be, but urged fans not to worry. He thanked fans for their support and asked them to continue cheering for the other BTS members.

J-Hope is scheduled to enlist on April 18 at the Army Training Center in Gangwon Province. After completing five weeks of basic military training, he will be assigned to a unit in late May. J-Hope is the second BTS member to enlist, following Jin's enlistment.
