Lee Chae-yeon, formerly of girl group IZ*ONE, has made a comeback with her second mini-album.

On April 12, Lee Chae-yeon held a showcase for her second mini-album "Over The Moon" in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, sharing her thoughts on releasing new music after six months.

Reflecting on her comeback since her solo debut album "HUSH RUSH" in October last year, Lee Chae-yeon said, "I feel the most excitement, gratitude, and happiness."

At the time of her first album release, Lee Chae-yeon stated, "I thought I hadn't secured my position as a solo singer yet." She then expressed her ambition, saying, "Since it's only my second album, I will continue to release many albums as a solo artist and establish myself as a singer who is loved."

Her new album features a total of five tracks, including the title song "KNOCK" with the message "I will knock on your heart first," "I Don't Wanna Know," and "Like A Star," which Lee Chae-yeon participated in writing the lyrics for.

When she first heard the guide song for "KNOCK," Lee Chae-yeon admitted she was worried if she could fully pull off the powerful and intense atmosphere of the song. She added, "I thought a lot about how I could show a performance filled with my own charm and practiced a lot."

The key point of the album is the performance. Lee Chae-yeon said, "I will show you a performance worth watching, using cool dance moves and a mix of strength and softness." She continued, "When it comes to performance, I want to knock on many people's hearts, so they can't leave Lee Chae-yeon out. I want to hear that 'Chae-yeon fits this color too,' and 'The stage is fun.' I'm ready to accept any feedback. I'd be grateful if you express what you feel."

Among the tracks on the album, Lee Chae-yeon recommended "Don't Be A Jerk." She said, "When I listen to this song, I think about moving forward confidently, without conforming to other people's standards and perspectives."

Lee Chae-yeon debuted as a member of IZ*ONE through the Mnet audition program "Produce 48" in 2018, serving as the group's main dancer. She also participated as a member of the "WANT" choreography team on Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter."
