BTS Jimin Sets Record with 1.45 Million First-Week Sales for Solo Album 'FACE'
BTS member Jimin has proven his strong album sales power with the release of his first solo album.
On the 24th, Jimin released his debut solo album "FACE." According to Hanteo Chart, as of the 31st, the album has sold 1,454,223 copies, making it the highest first-week sales for a solo artist in history. "FACE" already sold 1,021,532 copies on the first day alone, achieving "million-seller" status within just one day.
Jimin's "FACE" has also captivated fans in Japan, sweeping the top spots on Oricon's "Weekly Digital Album Ranking," "Weekly Album Ranking," and "Weekly Combined Album Ranking."
The album "FACE" contains stories of Jimin preparing for a new beginning and sincerely reflects various emotions he has experienced over the past two years.
Meanwhile, on the 30th, Jimin showcased the title track "Like Crazy" and the B-side track "Set Me Free Part 2" on Mnet's "M Countdown," securing the number one spot for two consecutive weeks.
