Bangtan Boy Jungkook has broken a record by becoming the first solo artist from Korea to get 10 million streams on Spotify for his first OST single "Stay Alive" in three days since its release.

"Stay Alive", which is the theme song of BTS's webtoon "7 Fates: Chakho", was released on February 11. It was recently announced that the track had got over 10 million streams on the global music network Spotify. The feat marks the first time something on this scale has happened from a K-pop soloist on Spotify, globally.

In fact, the song had surpassed over 4,273,700 streams on its first day of release, making Jungkook the biggest K-pop soloist debut on Spotify. Additionally, the youngest band member of BTS also ranked third in Spotify's daily Global Top 50 chart.

"Stay Alive", which features Jungkook's BTS bandmate Suga as the producer, has broken record after record on releasing. It actually set multiple records in the first 24 hours of its release. As per reports from HYBE, "Stay Alive" topped the iTunes "Top Songs" chart in 100 countries but also dominated the Bugs real-time chart, while ascending to No. 3 on Melon's real-time chart, achieving an all-kill on Korea's major domestic charts besides iTunes.

As "Stay Alive" continues its unwavering streaming success over the global charts, the ARMy is determined to also make it rank on Billboard Hot 100.

According to a prediction by Forbes, the OST has a strong possibility of charting at the Billboard Hot 100.

Meanwhile, Jungkook recently celebrated nine years with BTS, as he became a part of the Bangtan Boys on February 2, 2013. In fact, his moniker of "golden maknae" was first coined by BTS leader RM. Back then, Namjoon had written on Twitter that Jungkook was the golden maknae and that he could sing, dance, had a good voice, and cute face, so nothing was missing, so the fans should look forward to him. At that point, RM and Jungkook had released a cover of a song together.

Jungkook had taken the decision to join BTS and BigHit because of Namjoom, a fact that he has even shared in quite a few interviews. He has also named RM as the forever leader of BTS and a role model. Though RM may have called Jungkook the golden maknae jokingly, the name has stuck, and fans are quite glad about it.
