GOT7 member BamBam recently announced that he has been chosen as NBA Golden State Warriors' newest global brand ambassador. On that very day, he also announced his comeback with "B", his second mini-album.

The American professional basketball team Golden State Warriors is in US's National Basketball Association (NBA) league as a Western Conference Pacific Division member. The San Francisco-based team includes some really huge names, such as Andrew Wiggins and Stephen Curry.

The singer took to his Instagram to share three pictures of himself in his new Golden State Warriors jersey, BAMBAM 97. Incidentally, the singer was born in 1997, so the number on his jersey could denote that. He captioned the post by saying "Surprise", and to look at his shirt.

The artist further said that he was very honored to be named as the Global Ambassador for the Golden State Warriors. It was super exciting and that he will do his best engaging with GSW and all the fans throughout the 2022 seasons.

BamBam signed off by writing to please keep showing support to the greatest GSW players and to wait for more surprises!

Meanwhile, Steph Curry noted Bambam's new role with a tweet welcoming him to DubNation.

BamBam also announced an upcoming new mini-album by captioning the announcement by tweeting, Are You Ready For BB2?

The singer released a set of black and white teaser photos that officially show the start of the preparation for this second mini album's release. They show the artist standing in a dark space lit by light shining, which seems to appear from a doorway.

Bambam is seen wearing a monochrome outfit, matching the theme of the photos. He dropped the teaser poster for "Slow Mo", one of the songs on the album.

The album is slated to release on January 18 KST. The tracklist will feature "Intro (Satellites)", title song "Who Are You" and "Ride or Die", "Let Me Love You", "Subliminal", and "Slow Mo".

Last month, after the release of "Who Are You", his pre-single featuring Seulgi of Red Velvet, BamBam kept everyone busy by sharing numerous clips of fellow K-pop idols, including Got7 band members Dara, SOMI, Youngjae, and JAY B trying to attempt the challenge for the track.

"B" will be the artist's first album since he debuted in 2021 with the Korean mini-album, "riBBon''. BamBam's first-ever solo extended playlist, made a debut at No. 2 on Gaon Weekly Albums Chart, with the title track 'riBBon' reaching No. 17 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.
