APRIL Naeun's Managing Label Debunks School Bullying Allegations
On July 23, DSP Media released a public clarification on the continuing claims regarding APRIL's Naeun's school bullying.
On July 22, a social media user, "A," revealed she was Naeun's previous primary school classmate. "A" claims Naeun harassed her throughout their school days. "A" added that her mom also knew Naeun as she recalls the days when she had to cry a lot and refuses to attend her tutoring school and had to tell her mom the reason behind it. (via Allkpop)
DSP Media released an official response saying, "After being alerted about this community post, we thoroughly checked the facts with our artist and nearby acquaintances and concluded that the allegations are not true. We have been collecting all evidence regarding this situation ever since the netizen first made the community post. We have decided to proceed with legal action by hiring the aid of a law office today."
The latest revelation of APRIL's Naeun's school violence had stirred up online forums earlier this week when one netizen said he was previously classmates with Naeun raising separate allegations.
However, one person who identifies herself as one of the idol's former classmate clarified that these bullying rumors are nothing but groundless allegations. She claimed that Naeun has always been a cheerful and friendly student way back in their school days.
She added that the idol gets along very well with other students as well, and the teachers used to like her back then as she always had that kind heart and a pretty face. Due to these unforeseen allegations stirring up from random individuals, it has been reported that APRIL's Naeun has been having a hard time coping and is negatively impacted by the controversy.
APRIL's Naeun reportedly has not stopped shedding tears since the fiasco made headlines, dragging her name down with false stories.
