“Blazing Sonata” musical will be hitting the households this August and September via virtual broadcast with Kpop idols; Super Junior’s Ryeowook, PENTAGON’s Hui, N.Flying’s Yoo Hwe Seung, and Golden Child’s Joochan.

According to Soompi, “Blazing Sonata” is a psychological thriller musical based on a bestselling novel of the same name. It recounts the story of a composer who witnessed a murder and reflected one day that committing murder would allow him to compose better masterpieces.

Ryeowook, Hui, and Kim Ji Chul will play the role of the killer composer. While Joochan, Yoo Hwe Seung, and Yoo Seung Hyun will immerse on the part of J’s muse, and composer S.

Moreover, Professor K, who drives J to his end to earn his success, is Kim Joo Ho and Lee Sun Geun.

Super Junior Ryeowook and N.Flying’s Yoo Hwe Seung are not new in musicals. Ryeowook has performed several musicals in the past, including the previous play of “Blazing Sonata.” Yoo Hwe Seung, on the other hand, made his musical debut last year with “We Will Rock You.”

Joochan and Hui with “Blazing Sonata” will be making their first step towards lead acting roles in a musical genre.

The musical will be aired via live stream broadcast in realtime in September so that United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia can witness the exciting musical.

Ryeowook stated that allowing the international audience to experience their musical act is an exciting and refreshing idea. “I hope many people will watch it.”

On his first time in a musical genre- Joochan expressed that he is deeply honored and grateful to encounter many people in such difficult times through the musical. He noted that he would do extensive training in acting and singing to deliver his role well.

The riveting musical “Blazing Sonata” will start spreading thrill and fun in every household from August 15 to August 30 and on September 18 to September 27 at Daehangno’s Uniplex Hall 1.
