The world of K-Pop continues to bloom these past few years. With its apparent rise in the music space, it has become a billion-dollar industry.

It is not surprising, then, that many artists in this arena have massive net worths. While the majority of the personalities, especially those who have already reached the global stage, there are only a few of them who tops the list of today's richest idols.

Pinkvilla released a report on the matter, focusing on the leading "crazy rich" K-Pop stars. It is noted, as well, that many of these individuals started with nothing as trainees.

Park Jin Young is the richest K-Pop idol today. He started in the industry in the 90s and became one of the most successful stars.

He is no longer working on his career as a performer, though, as he now focuses on his own agency, JYP Entertainment. This is what drove him to rise to the top, and has since led him to amass over $169 million.

Next on the list is former TVXQ member Kim Jaejoong. He is now part of the JYJ group.

Aside from being an idol, he, also, has tons of projects in the world of films and series. Moreover, he is an entrepreneur, director, and designer, which are all bases to his overall net worth ranging from $80 to $100 million.

Nicki Swift previously released a similar report, as well, revealing the other "crazy rich" K-Pop idols. Based on the figures, PSY, G-Dragon of BIGBANG, and Rain all come after Jaejoong.

Their respective net worths are $65 million, $55 million, and $50 million. Apart from their music projects, they, also, work on various ventures, like entrepreneurship.

The same publication continued that the members of BTS come next on the list. The septet obtained their riches solely on their career as K-Pop idols.

But, small parts of their respective businesses, also, play essential roles in their overall net worths. For instance, J-Hope has earned millions from real estate while RM from song royalties and credits.

There are, also, a few female K-Pop idols who made it to the list. Seoul Space reported that the richest among all is IU, who is worth over $45 million.

Lee Hyori and Sandara Park of 2NE1 come next to the LILAC artist. They each have a total net worth of $40 million and $30 million. Meanwhile, Jessica Jung of Girls' Generation has the same financial value as Dara.

On the $25 million net worth mark, three other female K-Pop idols made it to the list. These are BOA, Yoona, and Suzy. (Business Times)
