Rain is maybe marking his comeback in the film industry after two years!

On February 5, Friday, Rain is currently reviewing a casting proposal, and his managing label confirms it. The agency said, "[Rain] is currently in talks to appear in the drama 'Ghost Doctor,' with a favorable outlook."

Rain is proposed to appear in 'Ghost Doctor,' a drama series with a medical genre, but is also set to intrigue people through its ghost matter. The project will be directed by producing director Boo Sung Chul who also worked on the K-drama series hit 'Heirs,' and 'Jang Ok Jung, Lives in Love.'

'Ghost Doctor' is also written by the 'Live Up to Your Name,' writer Kim Eun Hee. If confirmed to be starring in the drama series, this will mark Rain's first-ever comeback on the small screen as an actor after two years following his drama project in 2019, 'Welcome 2 Life.'

Rain's Filmography

Rain debuted in the film industry in 2003 by appearing in the drama series 'Sang Doo! Let's Go To School.' His career skyrocketed more when he starred in the hit series 'Full House' in 2004, making him an international K-pop star.

Following his success on the small screen, Rain hit the big screens through his Hollywood debut film, 'Speed Racer,' and 'Ninja Assasin' in 2009.

Rain's Career

Aside from being an actor, Rain is also a K-pop idol. Rain is recognized for his R&B and Pop style of music genre. Rain released tracks including 'Bad Guy,' 'How to Avoid the Sun,' 'Cassiopeia,' and 'Lack of Space.'

Last year, a collaborative effort was made by Rain and Park Jin Young, who both released a debut track as a duo. The two officially dropped their duet single, 'Switch to me,' with a music video as their way of surprising their fans on New Year's Eve.
