Former South Korean rapper with the full name Jung Hun-Cheol, best known by his stage name as Iron, confirmed dead at 29!

Iron rose to fame when he graced Mnet's survival show Show Me The Money 3, is now dead, as reported by various Korean media outlets.

The 29-year-old rapper's body was breathless and bloody in his apartment complex before the security guard brought him to the nearest hospital.

He was found in his home by his security officer, where the officer saw Iron was bleeding and unconscious. He was then rushed to the hospital, but he was already dead beforehand, as per reports.

Police investigators share further details regarding Iron's passing

Allkpop reported that the sudden death of Iron left many people wondering the real cause of his death. And to clear the situation, the investigators working on Iron's passing share that they have not found any foul play.

"There is no suspicion of murder yet," the police said. "However, we cannot confirm the death as a suicide because we're continuing to investigate," the authorities added.

The police also confirmed that they have not found any suicide note and are currently in talks with the bereaved family of Iron to consult whether an autopsy will be conducted.

The assault case of Iron

Last year, Iron was arrested for allegedly assaulting his teenage roommate. He was also charged for illegal use of marijuana back in 2016 and charges for assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

He entered into two-year probation and 80 full hours of community service for his assault case in 2018. Iron was also given a warning of a jail sentence of two years if found breaking his probation.

The rapper's family is yet to release a statement regarding their loss, as the netizens expressed their condolences on social media. The funeral details are also still unknown for the time being.
