Former Super Junior member Kim Ki Bum finally unveils the reason why he departed Super Junior.

On January 25, Monday, Former Super Junior member Kim Ki Bum invited Super Junior's Heechul for a guest appearance on his YouTube channel to discuss certain topics, which led the two idols to unveil secrets. Kim Ki Bum and Heechul first brought up the day they entered SM Entertainment as trainees in 2000.

The two continued reminiscing their memories with other members during their trainee days, and Heechul finally shared that Kim Ki Bum avoids making media appearances on TV programs back then. The reason why is because Kim Ki Bum doesn't want to be questioned about Super Junior.

Fans of the K-pop group Super Junior are shocked to learn when Kim Ki Bum departed the label and the group back then. Kim Ki Bum's silent withdrawal from the group becomes a curious case to some who had been supporting the group since their debut days.

To give the fans peace of mind about what happened and the reason behind Kim Ki Bum's departure, Heechul tried to open an opportunity for Ki Bum to reveal the reason he left Super Junior. Curious himself and as fans predicted back then, Kim Heechul boldly asked Ki Bum if the other members bullied him, to which Ki Bum denied.

In a heart to heart conversation, Ki Bum confirmed he voluntarily told the management he wanted to quit and leave Super Junior and would just focus on his acting career. Kim Heechul seemed to assure he wasn't bullied or anything, so he asked Kim Ki Bum once more if he was physically abused by other members, which he denied the last time again.

Kim Ki Bum's abrupt withdrawal made many fans speculate and theorize many reasons why he left the group. After many years of waiting, the reason is now finally revealed by Kim Ki Bum himself.
