BTS Shock: USA's New Vice-President Kamala Harris Reportedly An 'ARMY'
Earlier today, Kamala Harris was sworn in as the 49th Vice President of the United States at Joe Biden's presidential inauguration. She is the first woman of South Asian (Indian) descent and the first Black woman to become the Vice President.
Aside from the victory of the new second-most potent personality in the U.S., the Korean band BTS fans, ARMY, were in for some major joy after learning that Harris is a fan of the band and followed the band's official Twitter handle from her Vice President account. U.S.'s Vice President is noted to have listed BTS single on her Summer's playlist.
Harris Is An ARMY?
The growing fanbase of BTS seems to include the first woman biracial vice president of the United States, Kamala Harris.
The first female Vice President to enter the White House was found following the famous septet out of her official Twitter account. With this, the members were exalted that she is an ARMY.
Following the inaugural ceremony, Vice President Kamala Harris was assigned by Twitter with the new official account that followed artists, politicians, and world leaders.
Her account also followed @BTS_twt, the official Twitter account of the Grammy-nominated K-pop group.

Furthermore, other ARMY noticed that Harris's summer playlist included BTS's hit single Boy With Luv, from Map of the Soul: Persona featuring Halsey.
With the fans being reminded how the boy band's leader, RM, composed lyrics to MIC Drop inspired by the Democratic, 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, the news did not surprise many other ARMY on social media.
Not just that, Obama and the British Royal Family were featured on a BTS promotional video for the Invictus Games.
Finally, Bangtan Sonyeondan is the biggest boy-band in the world. The Vice President of the United States support them is such heartwarming. This is by crossing the barrier of language and embracing the message that their music carries.
