The 35th Golden Disc Awards took its place on January 9 (Saturday) and concluding the ceremony on January 10 (Sunday). The two-day event crowned the worthy winners under the Digital Song Division and the Album Division, naming IU and BTS as the Daesang (Grand Prize) winners.

The said awarding ceremony by jTBC held its second day's event on January 10, hailing the Album Division winners, as per Soompi. According to a previous report, the first-day winners were announced without an audience, and so is the second day's show.

That said, the first-day winners of the 35th Golden Disc Awards are listed here, with IU, who brought home the Daesang for her 2019 hit track titled Blueming.

On the second day, the Daesang was coveted by the Grammy-nominated band BTS, who also went home with a Bonsang in the event's two awarding ceremonies. The band attended the event 7/7 but performed some of their songs without Suga.

Suga could not participate in performances that require dancing but graced the band's performance of Life Goes On as it does not need dancing.

Aside from the Daesang and two Bonsang, the K-pop septet won the Curaporox Golden Disc Most Popular Artist award.
