Kim Soo Hyun's Next Project Is With Cha Seung Won In A 'Criminal Justice' Remake
Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won are officially confirmed to film a remake of the BBC Drama 'Criminal Justice.'
On January 5, Tuesday, actors Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won are confirmed to be working together for their upcoming joint remake project of the drama series 'Criminal Justice.' The drama story will tell the tale of two people who got involved in a murder case.
Moreover, Kim Soo Hyun will be appearing in the film as Kim Hyun Soo, a university student whose life is once on track but was wrongly accused of as a key suspect in a murder case. Cha Seung Won, who will play Shin Joong Han's role, a newly graduate lawyer, will be the only person who will do his utmost to save Kim Hyun Soo from getting accused of something he never did.
"That Night," the remake of BBC Drama 'Criminal Justice,' is written by Kwoon Soon Kyu, who also worked on various TV shows including 'Warrior of Baek Dong Soo,' and 'The Royal Gambler.' The drama will be led and directed by Lee Myung Woo, who worked on 'The Fiery Priest,' 'Punch,' and 'Backstreet Rookie.'
According to the production team, the upcoming series's filming will begin during the first half of the year and will premier during the half part of 2021.
Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun, who reportedly turned down a Netflix thriller series offer, appeared to have chosen his next project, and that is the upcoming series, 'That Night.' Moreover, fans are excited about Kim Soo Hyun's upcoming project as he was getting a lot of casting calls from various directors who loved to have him on set.
Furthermore, Kim Soo Hyun will be working with Cha Seung Won, who has a long-standing career in the film industry and has debuted in the TV series 'New York Stories' and 'Kick the Moon.' Cha Seung Won also has worked on successful films, including 'The Greatest Love (2011), 'You're All Surrounded (2014),' and 'Splendid Politics (2015).'
