Shin Hyun Joon Cleared From Charges Filed By Former Manager Including Illegal Propofol Use
Actor Shin Hyun Joon's legal representative, on November 12, released an official statement stating that the actor has now been cleared of all charges by his former manager.
The former manager of Shin Hyun Joon accused him of workplace abuse, low pay, verbal assault, and illegal use of the drug propofol way back in July. The accusations mentioned above were then taken to the police for further investigation. However, Shin Hyun Joon denied all charges filed against him.
The Final Verdict
The police have concluded on November 12 that Shin Hyun Joon was not guilty of his former manager's accusations and brought the investigation to a close with no indictments.
Furthermore, it was stated by the police declared that there was no evidence presented to prove that Shin Hyun Joon used propofol illegally. Also, no evidence was there enough to indicate that Shin Hyun Joon engaged in workplace abuse or verbal assault, as claimed by the manager.
Meanwhile, the actor's former manager has been indicted and forwarded to prosecution for defamation in Shin Hyun Joon's character. Also, earlier this year, Shin's counter lawsuit was filed.
Shin Hyun Joon's Statement
Shin Hyun Joon said through his law firm, "In this regard, through an investigation, it was revealed that all the contents exposed by Mr. Kim while insisting on propofol and sensation against me are not true at all." He continued, "We are suing, and the investigation is underway. We will be continuing to hold all responsibilities under the law seriously.
The actor also expressed that he had refrained from appearing on broadcasts and other external activities due to this incident. He also mentioned that he had a more humble time to look back on himself, causing worries for many people who love him.
At this moment, Shin Hyun Joon is gearing for a return towards his previous activities soon.
