MAMAMOO Breaks Personal Sales Records On Hanteo Chart With Comeback Album 'TRAVEL'
The record-smashing K-pop all-girl group of RBW, MAMAMOO, made sure to mark its spot as a powerful K-pop ensemble with its latest feat.
MAMAMOO breaks its own sales records
The versatile quartet composed of Solar, Hwasa, Wheein, and Moonbyul has dominated albums' sales traffic as the band made its way back to the K-pop music stage. MAMAMOO's latest comeback album entitled TRAVEL has an all-new impressive sales milestone, proving the band's intense presence in the spotlight.
In a mesmerizing read by Hellokpop, MAMAMOO's TRAVEL, the group's latest extended play entry, has recorded 128,966 copies sold on its initial week. It was made available by the K-pop quartet and RBW on November 3, and the whopping figure does mean MAMAMOO is making its way to dominating the global music stage.
What is more impressive is that the number of copies sold by TRAVEL on its first week is more significant than what the band's previous album achieved. REALITY IN BLACK by MAMAMOO only sold 70,536 copies, which means TRAVEL is greater than 58,000 copies.
Moreover, TRAVEL is MAMAMOO's highest-grossing album that made its growth rate to 184%—adding notes to TRAVEL's remarkable performance, as per Soompi, the album sold more than 1000,000 copies on its first day!
Other feats of TRAVEL
MAMAMOO can confidently say that they have smashed their own initial sales record, as documented by Hanteo Chart. Indeed, the K-pop quartet is one of today's most-sought K-pop girl groups, proving its more fully-pledged concepts with AYA and Dingga.
TRAVEL is MAMAMOO's 10th extended play entry to the K-pop music scene, with a title track called AYA. The said track and its home collection finished on the first rank on iTunes charts worldwide, while the track alone dominated the local real-time music charts.
