G-Dragon's VOGUE Cover Is Now The Best-Selling Magazine By A K-Pop Idol
G-Dragon is silently raking titles!
G-Dragon x VOGUE Korea
A report by Allkpop says that the Korean fashion outlet of VOGUE posted pictorial photos of the 32-year-old G-Dragon from four years ago. The post also comes with a caption that partly writes, "G-DRAGON appeared on VOGUE Korea's cover in 4 years."
The three mesmerizing and fashionable magazine covers of the King of K-Pop had him styled up in eccentric outfits while showing off intense poses to the camera. Furthermore, the cover photos seem to showcase G-Dragon's various egos representations, as it has mysterious tags on it.
The tags are written in Korean, such as "GD," 'Kwon Jiyong," "G-DRAGON." The label 'One Of A Kind" is also present in all three covers.
The whopping sales of G-Dragon's VOGUE covers
The specific issue of the renowned fashion magazine was first made available via pre-sale on ktown4u. Just three days after it was officially sold, the magazine earned 28,00 sold copies, smashing records.
The impressive feat of G-Dragon has dethroned EXO's Baekhyun reign as the best-selling fashion magazine cover by a K-pop idol. Formerly, Baekhyun held the notable title for his HARPER'S Bazaar October issue.
Alongside G-Dragon's new title, he also became ktown4u's best-selling fashion magazine by a K-pop idol with pre-orders.
Impressive, G-Dragon!
More fashion stunts and collaboration of G-Dragon
To some, G-Dragon is no longer existent and making a name in the K-pop industry, but little did they know, the idol is still in full swing!
After his dischargement from the government's mandatory military service, the entrepreneur-fashion designer inked a deal with Nike in October of last year. To no surprise, products of the brand have seen a surge in sales.
The matter held G-Dragon as Nike's upcoming endorser next month!
To conclude, G-Dragon proves his domination in the fashion and business venture as he lives up to his title – King of K-Pop.
