25-year-old f(x) member Chrystal Soo Jung, best known as Krystal, is starred as the cover of the Korea-based magazine 1st Look. Alongside gracing the magazine's photoshoot, Krystal sits with 1st Look as she shares her thoughts and excitement towards her upcoming drama series titled Search.
Krystal charms 1st Look magazine
The singer appeared on the cover of 1st Look, welcoming the fall season of South Korea. The fall-themed pictorial had the American singer wear boho outfits, tagging along in nude and orange shades.
The location adds spice to the minimalist and fascinating theme of the photoshoot. The setup had the singer deliver fierce and laid-back poses straight to the eyes of the camera.
Another photo shows Krystal poses behind a bush of orange flowers with a white cloth as a backdrop. The singer's pose highlights her natural beauty and sleek black hair.
Interview with 1st Look
After the sophisticated photoshoot with the outlet, Krystal participated in an exclusive interview where she shared snippets and her thoughts on her forthcoming drama titled Search.
Search is an OCN-produced TV series that revolves around the story of mysterious losses and deaths in a demilitarized zone. Krystal plays the role of Son Ye Rim, an outstanding leader, and lieutenant who comprises the team assigned to resolve the deaths in the demilitarized zone.
"I was drawn to the fact that the drama tackled the daily lives of soldiers in the armed forces," Krystal shared. She added that her character in the series made her accept the role, as it is unusual for a female character to be given prominence.
To prepare for the series, Krystal met with real soldiers to ask for insights into the reality of being a public servant in action.
The full version of Krystal's pictorial and interview with 1st Look magazine was made available by the magazine on October 8 as its No. 205 issue.
