MBC's 'How Do You Play' Tops All Variety Show Programs In September Brand Reputation Rankings
MBC's "How Do You Play," TV Chosun's "Love Call center," and JTBC's "Ask Us Anything" are among the top-notchers of September's brand reputation ranking for variety shows as revealed by The Korean Business Research Institute.
Using the big data from August 5 to September 5, the rankings were determined by analyzing consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, community awareness, and viewership of 50 popular variety show programs.
On top of September's list is MBC's "How Do You Play," with a brand reputation index of 9,729,407.
The show's high-ranking phrases included "Yoo Jae Suk," "Refund Expedition," and "SSAK3," while the highest-ranking related terms included "job interview," "release," and "debut." The positivity-negativity analysis of the program revealed a score of 76.83 percent positive reactions.
This month's Rank 2 is TV Chosun's "Love Call Center" with a brand reputation ranking of 9,695,538. The show aired on May 21, and since then, it is garnering good reviews and maintained sky-high viewership ratings.
On the third spot is JTBC's "Ask Us Anything" with the total brand reputation index of 7,170,916 for September. The latest episode of the show features the new drama "18 Again," including Yoon Sang Hyun, Kim Ha Neul, and Lee Do Hyun. There, they talked about many topics, including the shocking revelation Yoon Sang Hyun who revealed questioning himself in the past whether he will be marrying her wife or not due to a small fight.
Meanwhile, placing fourth and fifth is MBC's "Home Alone," and SBS' "My Ugly Duckling."
