The South Korean femme fatale BLACKPINK and American singer-songwriter and CEO of 'Rare Beauty' are on the same level of excitement as they anticipate the release of their teamwork. The quartet and Gomez talk about 'Ice Cream' and their collaboration through a video call session.
BLACKPINK's home management and recording label, YG Entertainment, unveiled another teaser video for the forthcoming single on its official social media accounts on August 24 (Monday). The video teaser contains the video call snippet between the 'How You Like That' singers and rapper with the international pop superstar, who gained a nickname: SelPink.
Furthermore, the video teaser comes with a digital cover image of the upcoming record and a first taste of the music's beat, making both artists' fans go nutty as a fruitcake!
As reported by Kpopstarz, the video call kicked off with the member of BLACKPINK greeting Gomez a warm welcome. While facing Gomez in the screen, Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rose all looked stunned upon virtually meeting the Disney alum. Moreover, the video call had BLACKPINK and Gomes express their distinct feeling towards each other and their song, letting everyone know how special 'Ice Cream' is to them as artists and collaborators.
Rose said to Gomez that all four of them are delighted to work with her since they are huge fans of Gomez for a very long time now. "I've been a fan of you. It's really like a dream to be together," Gomez replied.
The video teaser is the first time the two renowned artists got together in public since their team-up news broke the internet headlines.
Rose shared the video teaser on her Instagram account, saying she couldn't wait for everyone to hear it. Jisoo also posted the same content and tagged Gomez'
On the other hand, Gomez shared two photos that presumably shot when they filmed the music video for 'Ice Cream.'
